Seachem Flourish® Aquarium Plant Food for the Planted Aquarium 100ml / 250ml / 500ml

Seachem Flourish Comprehensive supplement for the planted aquarium is a great choice when it comes to successful growing plants in a freshwater aquarium & macroalgae in a planted reef tank. It is designed for the freshwater aquarium as it includes copper. In the  marine aquarium it should be taken with caution, as it includes a small amount of copper, although much less than most other fertilizer for the planted aquarium.

It won't add significant levels of Nitrate & Phosphate and is therefore a great solution for lowering Nitrate & Phosphate levels in the aquarium water.

Instruction Guidelines

• Shake Seachem Flourish well before using.
• Dosing recommendation:
  Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 250 L once or twice a week. For smaller doses each cap thread is approximately 1 mL. Refrigeration after opening is recommended but not required.
• For strong algae growth it is recommended to maintain a minimum Nitrate level of 3-5 ppm and phosphate level of 0.01 ppm, as otherwise an optimum macroalgae growth may not be possible.
• Concentrated formula & integrated measuring bottle - 500 ml will treat 5000 litres of tank water
• Contains  0.0001% Copper *1

Caution

Keep out of reach of children. Not for human consumption. Handle with care in the aquarium.

*1 =  Please note that Copper can be toxic to aquatic animals and invertebrates like shrimp and snails as they are particularly sensitive. However, copper is needed in trace amounts by both plants and animals which is why Seachem includes it in Flourish and other of their trace products. The amount of copper in Flourish® is so small that a massive overdose would be necessary before it would begin to reach an amount of Copper that is toxic to even the most sensitive animals. This said when using this fertiliser we recommend for safety reasons to monitor the Copper level in the aquarium water and to use if necessary Copper removing supplements.
