Caulerpa Serrulata prefers just medium strong light to grow well.
All fishes and critter we had so far shave shown very little interest in this macro algae.
Caulerpa Serrulata normally attaches itself very rarely, so it is easier to remove from it than a lot of the other available caulerpa species.
This macro algae will add beneficial holdfast for Seahorses.
Some caulerpa species might go sexual, which means that it releases gametes and tissue into the aquarium water. This algae is very resistant against that and not known as to do so.
Whitish parts of it should be removed as they are decomposing.
Like for most marine macroalgae a higher level of Nitrate and Phosphate, in addition to the supplement of Iron, Magnesium and Trace elements will improve the growth of this algae.

Brilliant! Best customer service I have ever received from an aquatics company, Manfred was very polite he spent his time with me answering all my questions. Received great looking algae and hope the will do to lower my nutrients.
Received this algae to help me reducing nitrate and phosphate, as they are a bit to high unfortunately. They look very healthy, so I hope they will do well in my sump.
