The beautiful Codium isan true all-rounder macro algae for the marine aquarium. Not fuzzy regards the light or current, and beautiful looking. It has a great dark main structure, which develops irregular into cylindrical branches. Along its branches it develops soft fuzzy filaments which a lot of fishes love to eat. A perfect macro algae for Seahorses too, as it will add natural holdfasts.

Our macro algae are from fish free macro algae tanks, although we use sometimes pictures for demonstration purposes only which will include fishes, seahorses and or corals.
We do our best to quarantine, treat and remove any unwanted hitchhikers, parasites etc from our macro algae but we can not guarantee that the algae are completely free of anything unwanted, not limited to Copepods, Rotifers etc. This is simply because that sometimes eggs, spores, etc can remain viable but not visible and hitchhikers can still stay hidden, especially in dense algae structures, despite our strict quarantine efforts.

Hi just want to know does any of your algae survive around 19 degrees Celsius setting up tank for pot belly seahorses and do you post to ireland thanks a million .
We recently had another customer and I believe he was going to keep a temperature of around 21C.
As lower the temperature you are aiming for as harder it is for macroalgae, as most of them thrive best in temperatures between 24-26C.
The best results from the feedback we have received are more slow growing algae species like Cryptonemia Crenulata
All are more hardie species, but not nearly as fast growing as a lot of Caulerpa species, therefore no isk at all of them going sexual.
We have a new red bubble algae as well, but no experiences with lower temperatures yet.
Of course we deliver as well to Ireland.
You can find our EU delivery informations here:
I hope this helps.

I received the Codium macro algae from you, Thank you. It has been in my tank for a day now and I noticed that my yellow tang started to nip on it. But as he is still small it seems he doesn't get anything. I was wondering if this algae is edible, and if so, would it damage the algae, when he always tries to nibble on it?
Hi. As long as your Yellow Tang doesn't eat the main structure of the
Hope this helps. If you have any further questions don't hesitate to contact us.
